PURPOSE

The purpose of this document is to explain the ‘Reconcile Inventory’ section of the ‘General Warehouse’ tab in the ShipCaddie TWMS system. 

 

SCOPE

The ‘Reconcile Inventory’ process will be followed by Admin Users within the ShipCaddie TWMS system.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

  1. The Warehouse Admin Users are responsible for Reconciling physical inventory when needed.
  2. ShipCaddie TWMS Implementations Team will establish, implement, and maintain this procedure documentation.

RECONCILE INVENTORY

This can be used to correct or update the quantity of SKUs within warehouse bins.

  1. Navigate to the left side of the ShipCaddie TWMS screen. Select ‘General Warehouse’ and then ‘Reconcile Inventory’.
  2. With your barcode scanner, scan the Bin on which you are working. See Figure 1

        3. A new screen will appear showing information about the items in this bin. See Figure 2. 

        4. In the first box, scan the SKU of a product within this bin. The system will audibly announce the quantity of the item.

        5. If the quantity has been physically counted by the user and is different from the quantity the system shows, enter the             new amount above the number-keypad on the screen.

        6. Choose a ‘Reason’ from the dropdown (reason for the quantity change) and any notes in the ‘Notes’ field. See Figure 3

        7. Click the green ‘Complete’ button to save the changes.

        8. If the quantity has been changed, the system will audibly and visually tell you the quantities do not match. To verify                 the new count is correct, click ‘OK’.

        9. You will now see the main ‘Reconcile Inventory’ screen, showing your Recon Inventory History for this session. See                 Figure 4
